Dark of long winter night and dazzling white winter snow - opposite colors but just different halves of the same thing. Even in winter there is the promise of spring. In old age, the winter of our years when our hair turns white like snow, we can take comfort in the promise of springtime. There is no death but only a change of worlds - a change of seasons and eternal spring.
