"Dagwog Jibay"
   (Autumn Ghost)
   by Gerard Tsonakwa, Abenaki

Autumn arrives with bunches of bitter sweets and maple leaves in a water glass on the kitchen table.  Its memories are stored in paraffin - sealed canning jars and stout cider jugs, to be stored again in some distant time.   All the leaves, once emerald green and alive, are now Autumn Ghosts of vermilion woods and golden meadows of home.

Materials:   Apple wood, Icelandic sheep wool, deer hair, turkey feather, abalone, glass trade beads, natural pigments sealed with bees wax
Size:  20" x 13"
Price:  $825.00
