The Red and Blue Moon is a powerful potent of change and this wizard is a good facilitator.  Changes in this world come as fast as the beating of a rabbit's heart.  They can come on the swift drumming wings of a partridge.   If not for change or difference, we would all be but a grain of sand or only a pine needle on the forest floor.  But we know all this, we are human after all.  One day, we pray for change and the next, we hope it won't happen.
