From the days of dinosaurs...Ammonites were squidlike creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells. They were constantly adding to their shells and lived in the outermost coils. This amazing fossil, clearly shows this process. Everyone will want to know what it is! The stone measures 2" x 1 3/8" and is surrounded by a simple twist of sterling silver. The bale is approximately 1/4" which will allow it to be worn with a cord, chain, or beads.
